Quick answer

Good Life Meds' semaglutide page lists $199/month at every dose ($2,388 over an illustrative year). The August 2026 tirzepatide snapshot used here is $599 for a 12-week starter, then $822 per quarter ($3,065 over an illustrative year). Against Luma's three-month plans and renewals at $1,368 and $2,058, those scenarios are $1,020 and $1,007 higher. The October 24 tirzepatide page lists $297 and promotes multi-month discounts, but its accessible text did not reconfirm the $599/$822 amounts. The tirzepatide savings estimate is a historical scenario, not a current checkout quote.

Luma has no separate membership fee. Compounded semaglutide injection plans start at $99/mo and compounded tirzepatide at $149/mo on a three-month new-patient plan, or a six-month plan for current GLP users. The new-patient discount is designed to help new patients get started; it applies to the first plan period, and renewal pricing stays affordable with no membership fee. Pay upfront or use Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay to split payments, subject to eligibility and approval.

What Good Life Meds publicly lists

  • Medication: Compounded semaglutide $199/mo at every dose. August 2026 tirzepatide snapshot: $599 for a 12-week starter, then $297/mo, $822 per quarter or $1,494 for six months; starter and multi-month amounts not reconfirmed October 24.
  • Membership: Product pages state no separate membership fee; medication, consultation, ongoing care, supplies and expedited shipping included.
  • Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew at the selected interval; confirm the actual renewal processing date and current multi-month offer.

Both product pages publish flat-dose pricing and included shipping and supplies. Promotions are excluded from this model; the previously recorded $100 first-order discount was not reconfirmed. Product-page FAQs also list branded alternatives, which are not priced in this comparison. These are Good Life Meds's publicly listed prices; Luma has not completed Good Life Meds's checkout, and terms can change. Confirm the price for your prescribed dose, plan length and state directly with Good Life Meds.

Confirm the current three-month total, any promotion, actual renewal processing date and cancellation deadline. August starter/quarterly figures are retained as a historical scenario, not verified current offers.

Good Life Meds reviews: service and renewal experiences

The Trustpilot profile viewed October 24, 2026 showed 4.4/5 across 1,961 reviews. Visible September–October reviews described responsive customer support, help adjusting deliveries and fast shipping. Those are meaningful service positives, but customer testimonials do not establish clinical results.

The Houston BBB profile included individual customer allegations about unwanted charges and an incorrect refill dose. We have not independently verified those reports, established their frequency, or confirmed that an unexpected $822 charge is a recurring pattern. Read the current reviews and company responses alongside the published terms.

BBB lists the business as not accredited, which is not proof that a provider is illegitimate; businesses are not required to seek accreditation. Scores and review counts are snapshots, not guarantees about your experience.

The renewal amount deserves attention

The historical $822 quarterly tirzepatide amount is equivalent to $274/mo, but is a single quarterly charge rather than a $274 monthly bill. Good Life Meds publishes automatic-renewal terms, including possible early processing. Confirm the current amount and actual processing date before purchasing; the October 24 product-page text did not reconfirm the historical quarterly price.

Compounded tirzepatide$149/mo$447 upfront
Compounded semaglutide ODT$159/mo$477 upfront

The new-patient discount applies once. If you keep the same three-month commitment, semaglutide renews at $119/mo and tirzepatide at $179/mo. You can switch plans, such as a six-month injection plan, or cancel anytime before your next billing date.

Medication, provider oversight, necessary supplies and shipping are included. No separate membership fee is added, and prices do not change by dose.

The 12-month math

A monthly headline is not the same as a year of bills. This example assumes a new patient chooses a three-month injection plan and renews that same commitment three times, with today's prices unchanged.

Illustrative Luma year, not an annual plan or guaranteed future price. Each quarter is paid upfront, or use Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay to split payments, subject to eligibility and approval.
Injection planFirst 3 monthsEach renewal quarterIllustrative first year
Compounded semaglutide$297$357 × 3$1,368
Compounded tirzepatide$447$537 × 3$2,058

The quick-answer banner compares Luma's three-month semaglutide and tirzepatide plans with Good Life Meds's stated billing arrangement. Medication prepayment terms may differ. Dose changes, different plans, promotions and future prices can change the result. No guaranteed annual savings are claimed.

Who might choose Good Life Meds or Luma?

Consider Good Life Meds for

Patients who value published flat-dose pricing, included supplies and shipping, and responsive service reported by some reviewers. Confirm that the specific medication, services and commitment match what you want.

Consider Luma for

Compounded-program pricing without a separate membership charge, dose-independent prices, and monthly or multi-month options. A licensed clinician reviews your online intake and determines whether prescribing is appropriate.

On the comparison above, Luma's illustrative first year is $1,020 lower than Good Life Meds's modeled year: $1,368 versus $2,388.

The same three-month comparison for compounded tirzepatide is $1,007 lower at Luma: $2,058 versus $3,065.

Eligible current GLP users can save another $120 every six months by choosing Luma's six-month compounded semaglutide plan at $99/mo instead of two current-user three-month plans.

The choice is not just about cost. Branded and compounded products are not interchangeable, and a lower price does not establish better clinical care or results.

Splitting payments and canceling renewals

Luma offers Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay to help split your bill into smaller payments. These options can spread the cost of an eligible prepaid plan without changing its total Luma price or commitment length.

  • Affirm: how it works — Pay over time with eligible payment plans. Affirm offers Pay in 4 and longer-term options; available terms depend on your purchase and eligibility.
  • Klarna: how it works — Pay in 4 splits an eligible purchase into four payments, generally every two weeks, so you can spread the cost over time.
  • Afterpay: how it works — Pay in 4 splits an eligible purchase into four installments over six weeks, with the first payment upfront.

Choose from the options available for your purchase and review the payment schedule before agreeing. Eligibility and approval apply; payment amounts and available plans vary. Some Pay in 4 options are interest-free, while other plans may carry interest; late fees may apply depending on the provider and plan. The provider shows the applicable terms before you commit.

Luma still charges the full multi-month plan price upfront; an approved payment provider lets you repay that purchase on its separate schedule. Splitting payments does not turn a three-month Luma plan into a month-to-month subscription.

Canceling an upcoming Luma renewal does not cancel installments owed on a purchase already financed. Any approved refund is handled under Luma’s policy and the payment provider’s terms.

Canceling Luma

Cancel upcoming orders anytime before your next billing date through your patient portal or by emailing support@joinluma.com. This does not establish a refund for an already billed or fulfilled order.

Canceling Good Life Meds

Good Life Meds' Terms say to cancel by emailing care@goodlifemeds.com or through your online account at least three days before the applicable renewal processing date. The first renewal may be charged early, and subsequent shipments may be charged and shipped up to three days early. Confirm the actual processing date rather than relying only on the nominal renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. An initial order cannot be canceled once submitted for medical review. The Terms contain a broad no-refund clause and say partially used subscription periods are not refunded, with case-by-case exceptions at the company's discretion. Its product-page FAQ separately promises a full refund if its providers do not prescribe the requested medication. Ask for written cancellation confirmation; Luma has not completed this process. If you are considering switching, complete a new clinical evaluation and coordinate treatment timing with your clinician.
